Migration From Amazon Webstore To Magento 2.0

Amazon Webstore was an e-commerce platform by Amazon that enabled businesses to set up their online stores and sell products via Amazon’s platform. It was founded in 2010 and furnished an all-in-one solution for various businesses and brands to build and operate their online stores. However, it was halted in 2015 and replaced by the Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS), which lets businesses integrate their e-commerce stores with Amazon’s marketplace.

If we talk about how Magento 2 can be a better option than Amazon Marketplace Web Service in terms of functionality, interface, and efficiency, then we must consider a few things. First, they both are different platforms with distinguishable features and functionalities. Since both of them are used for e-commerce, they serve distinct purposes and cater to diverse audiences.

If a business wishes to build and operate its online store with complete control over the design and functionality, then Magento 2 will be a great choice. Nonetheless, if they wish to trade on Amazon’s marketplace and merge their e-commerce store with Amazon’s platform, then MWS could be a more suitable choice.

On the other hand, Magento 2 is an open-source eCommerce platform and is one of the most used CMS to build online stores worldwide. At times, web store migration becomes essential because your existing web store sometimes undergoes performance-related snags with your existing host, or there could be an insufficiency of features on the host.

Secondly, Magento migrationbecomes necessary for extra storage space as well. Hence, for improved functionality and performance, it can be a great idea to migrate from Amazon Marketplace Web Service to Magento 2.
